First off I wanna say I LOVE PINTEREST!! I seriously think I may have an addiction to it... I may need meetings or an intervention! I mean seriously I go on there to look up a recipe and an hour later I have pinned a hundred different things and still haven't found the recipe that I went on there for! LOL! Seriously, Does anyone else have this problem?? Anyway... I am writing today to show you my latest most favorite Pinterest post that I have found lately. I find pins that I love all the time but it has to be one that I REALLY Love for me to make it right away. Well this one was one of those OMG gotta make it right now kinda things!! The Dino Hoodie.... First I made it with just spikes. Then I decided to add the applique to give it a little something extra... i think I definitely like it better with the applique. I can't wait to experiment with different color combos and appliques! I found this tutorial here . It is a really cute blog with lots of cute ideas, tut

T-shirt to Tank

So... Everyone has seen the post on turning old tees into trendy tanks, right?? Well if you haven't you can find it here . It is an awesome tutorial form "crafterhours". All of my friends kept sending me Pins on Pinterest and tagging me on FB about it and suggesting I make one until I couldn't take it anymore and I HAD to try it. Man, I wish I had tried it a long time ago!!! I am in love! It was super easy and quick. This is what my finished tank looks like. It turned my old tee in to a super comfy trendy tank. I have a feeling there are gonna be a lot of shirts loosing their sleeves around my house...

Ninja Turtle Crochet pattern

It has been awhile since my last post and I think I am well over due for a FREE PATTERN!!  In 2013 by far hands down my most popular hat was the "Ninja Turtle". I couldn't make them fast enough! It seemed that everyone wanted one and in every size from newborn to adult. I used my favorite basic hat pattern that is my go to foundation for most all of my hats. If you don't have a favorite hat pattern you can find some really great ones on Etsy. The one I use is a simple double crochet beanie hat pattern. Now for the fun pat.... How do I make go from a basic beanie to a Ninja Turtle? Well it is actually quite simple... First I make the first few rows of the hat in a kinda sage green (like a turtle) then I put a strip of about 4 rows in what ever color the customer wanted depending on which Turtle they wanted it to be. For example I would use red, blue, orange, or purple. After completing the 4 color rows (that make the "eye mask") I do 4 more rows of green.

Can a stay at home mom really provide for the family with out an "outside" job???

This is a question I have suffered with trying to answer for years!! I have always been determined to stay at home with my kids and raise them myself. I have always been against paying someone else to raise my kids while I work and miss all of their "first" and them growing up. For some reason I have not been able thus far to find the perfect solution and feel like I have been able to help supplement the income and still be able to be a full time mom. Maybe I don't have my priorities in line. Maybe it just wasn't meant to be. But I am a person that believes if you want something bad enough it was meant to be you just have to figure out how to make it happen and trust that it will happen. So far every time I think I have it figured out I always end up taking a small part time job to "make some extra money". Well this time I am gonna try a different approach. I have decided that I am going to put all of these money saving tips I have been reading about and all
